The Totnes Good Food Market is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 10am to 3pm. Now in itís third year, the market is the biggest monthly producers & farmers market in the Westcountry.

Regularly attracting over 50 fine food traders each month, the Totnes Good Food Sunday market has become the biggest fine food and drink market in Devon and is rapidly becoming the largest in the South West.

Totnes Good Food Sunday is now officially the best. Food lovers from all over the region voted for the market in the Annual Devon Life Food & Drinks Awards and at a ceremony held at Sandy Park, Exeter the title of ĎBest Farmers Market in Devoní was awarded to the TGFS.

Launched in June 2010 with just over twenty producers, the market has grown month by month both in reputation and popularity. It attracts food lovers from all over the region, with three-quarters of its traders coming from within a 30 mile radius of Totnes. The market has also been award-nominated and warranted mentions in local and national newspapers and magazines.

A series of wildlife walks led by Dartmouth naturalist, Peter Shaw and will last around 1 and a half hours.

Please wear footwear for walking around the site. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the gardens and be introduced to the great diversity of birds, beasts, insects and flowers that live in the different habitats here.

The walk is informal with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. All welcome. Refreshments available. Disabled visitors should contact us before the event.

Does your fish eating experience extend to just cod, haddock, salmon and mackerel? Then the Brixham Fish Market tour is for you, where you'll see over 40 different types of fish at the auctions.

More than £25 million of fish is landed, bought and sold in Brixham and then delivered to many of the top restaurants across the nation and indeed abroad to our European neighbours.

Come along and see the exciting auctions in action, as featured in the recent Sky Atlantic series 'Fish Town'. You will be guided around by Rick Smith, head of Brixham Trawler Agents, who has decades of experience in the fish trade.

After the tour you will then head to the nearby Fishermen's Mission for a delicious full English breakfast.
Booking is essential as places are limited.
Unfortunately children under 14 cannot be accommodated.
Charge £8.00 to include Breakfast and a donation to the Fishermans Mission R.N.M.D.S.F.

Visitors can watch, talk to and buy from 30 artists, potters, jewellers and other craft workers as they work. Special art activities for children and teas, homemade cakes and snacks provided by the Children's Hospice volunteers.

Kingswear Village Regatta offers a busy weekend of fun events for all ages and is based around Waterhead Creek and Jubilee Park which is at the end of the Creek. At the same time the Regatta tries to raise money to support local charities and organisations. In the last six years it has been able to donate an amazing £20 000 to a range of causes thanks to a huge amount of hard work and generosity from local friends and sponsors.

There will be the usual rowing on both days, our Fete on the Sunday and speciality events including live music on the Saturday.

Come and help celebrate 75 years of Overbeck's garden being open to the public. Listen to music of the era, children can have fun exploring while completing the children's trail and win a sixpence.

There will be free entry to Overbeck's for everyone aged 75 and over. David Cohen, a local author, will be here on the Saturday and Sunday to launch and sign copies of his book 'The Fields of Thyme'. Admire the skill of our resident artist - Charlotte Atkinson.
