We LOVE Marmalade we do!!!
We’ll be going all orange for the month of March in celebration of the sticky orange stuff.

Kate has been busy bubbling up lots of homemade marmalade including previous award winners and some new, exciting flavour combinations. We’re also sending some off to the International Marmalade Awards, held on 18th & 19th March in Dalemain, Cumbria and keeping our fingers crossed!

We will have our homemade marmalades available for you to try throughout March & if you join us on Tuesdays & Wednesdays we will be offering complimentary toast to top with your favourite marmalade. This year some of our flavours include the famous Award Winning marmalade with Figs, Pine Nuts & Walnuts; Seville and Stem Ginger; Dark Navy Rum & Raisin; Traditional Fine Shred Seville, Mulled Wine Raisin and Seville, Walnut & Whiskey, Dark & Stormy and a new favourite Mojito Marmalade.

We'll also be inspired by all things orange and have orange cakes, marmalade bars and a children's Paddington colouring competition!

All you need is marmalade!

The Sixth Respect the Aged Day

The Sixth Respect the Aged Day
Tuesday 18th April 2017

The Sixth Respect the Aged Day
Tuesday 18th April, 7am - 2pm

With continued success over the past five years, Cafe Alf Resco in Dartmouth are once again supporting Respect the Aged Day. This important community event on Tuesday 18th April, will be celebrated by Kate and the crew by offering all Octogenarians a complimentary breakfast at Alf's between 7am and 2pm.

Respect the Aged Day celebrates later life, which is the theme of one of the recent Age UK to #lovelaterlife with poet Roger McGough penning a celebratory poem 'Time flies, they say, but it's us who fly; Time sits on it's hands as we rush by.; And life has a way of gathering speed; So seize the day, we're a special breed.'

For more details about the day, please contact Leanne or Kate on info@cafealfresco.co.uk or call 01803 835880.
